Save significant maintenance costs
RPC (Removable Protective Coating) is a proven new formulation.
This is a proprietary elastomeric water-based coating that is formulated to protect assets from corrosion, chemicals, UV, impact, abrasion and most elements that degrade substrates but can be removed when the asset needs to be used, inspected or serviced/repaired.
- One component, air-dried
- Goes on thick then dries to approximately 1/16+” DFT
- Not a film, wax or oil
- It can be spray applied and/or applied with a paintbrush
- It cures to a “tough” coating that can be handled – not like oils or some tapes that remain soft/tacky/oily
APPLICATIONS
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Water
Withstands intermittent exposure to water without showing any water creep under the coating. Do not use for immersion service.

Freeze/Thaw
Withstands repeated freeze/thaw cycles and sustained below freezing temps.

UV Protection
Passed QUV testing for 2,000 hours – no delamination from the metal substrate, no chalking, does not embrittle over time.

Solvent Resistance
Resistant to a wide range of solvents.

Heat
Withstands 150F sustained service.
FORMULATED TOUGH
RPC is an elastomeric water-based removable protective coating formulated to protect assets from corrosion, chemicals/liquids, impact, abrasion and atmospheric elements (all seasons).
RPC is sprayed, or rolled on thick, adheres well to clean metal, painted, fiberglass, glass and most plastic substrates and cures to a durable coating. RPC is not a film, wax or oil.
Once the RPC has cured it forms a tight bond to the substrate surface that will not allow moisture or liquids to creep between the RPC and the substrate, protecting the asset while in storage or during transit. RPC contains corrosion inhibitors.
Simply peel off the RPC when the asset is ready for use, inspection or maintenance.
